Paul’s extensive academic background in exercise physiology, sports therapy, and physiotherapy sets him apart as a healthcare professional. In addition to his impressive qualifications, Paul is also one of the few practitioners who can prescribe medication and provide cutting-edge ultrasound-guided injection therapy. Currently pursuing a PhD, he is constantly researching and discovering new applications for shockwave therapy.
While Paul previously owned clinics across the southeast and worked at the prestigious 19 Harley Street, he made the decision to focus on providing a more personal and individualized service from his sole clinic in Hexham. This change allows him to offer a higher level of attention and care to each patient.
What makes our physiotherapy services unique is Paul’s own experience as a Team GB athlete for 16 years. This first-hand knowledge and understanding of the demands of sports and physical activity enable him to provide specialised treatment options that can help athletes recover faster and perform at their best.
During a consultation, Paul excels at understanding, diagnosing, and educating each client. He takes the time to explain the diagnosis and prognosis in a way that patients can easily understand. This clear communication is essential for a full recovery and enables patients to actively participate in their treatment plan.

Despite the clinic’s prestigious reputation, the majority of our clients come from non-sporting backgrounds, including farming, construction, and office work. We treat individuals of all ages, from school-age children to those in their 90s, with the same level of expertise and care.

If it’s your first visit, be sure to select “NEW PATIENT” from the Physiotherapy drop-down menu. For follow-up consultations, you can choose “Follow up consultations” as the initial assessment and diagnosis have already been completed.
